Overnight Berry Oats

  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cups steel-cut oats
  • Add to Taste as desired:
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup flaxseed meal (optional)


Heat water to a rapid boil. Reduce heat to low; slowly add oats while stirring.

Add remaining items to your taste. Cover and let stand on stove until next morning. Can be topped with brown sugar, agave, maple syrup, honey, cream to taste.
